It is the perfect blend of history and stunning outdoor landscapes, and provides a wonderful backdrop for photographs and video! This is no doubt why Ballymagarvey Village is one of the most popular wedding destinations in Ireland, and why it is also one of our favourite locations to film!

Sunset Films captured weddings at Ballymagarvey Village many times and every time we return we love it even more!

In 2024, we had the honour of capturing Alex and Paul’s magical day. The weather held out (it was bright and dry, a little bit cloudy - perfect conditions for photo and video!). The couple had a beautiful ceremony on-site in the Mill Loft, fun was had by friends and family alike - enjoying the bubbly at the reception and dancing the night away to fairy lights and sparkles, and the the love and happiness between this beautiful couple could be felt all day long.
