Our answer to this, and what we have heard over and over, is that not having a wedding videographer is one of a wedding couple’s biggest regrets, and on the contrary, people who do have a wedding videographer are definitively always so happy that they did! Video has the capacity to capture moments and generate emotions in a way that photo never can. Do you want to book wedding suppliers, but are worried about having to change due to COVID-19 restrictions. Don’t worry! At Sunset Films we are fully committed to flexibility and accommodating our clients. Your deposit is fully transferable in case you need to re-schedule. In the case we are not available on your new date, we will endeavour to arrange another videographer of the same high standard as ourselves to film your wedding, in discussion with you, and we will edit and produce your films ourselves.

Cinematic wedding videographer prices will range, depending on the videographer’s experience, the quality of the films, and the service they provide. Most professional videography services will start from around 2,000 EUR. Remember, the costs associated with a wedding video are not only for the filming time on the day. The intricate art of editing also takes time, over a number of weeks to produce a flawless film. The equipment that professional wedding videographers use is not cheap - we need state-of-the art cameras, lenses, drone equipment, editing software, online storage computers, audio-recorders, and lots of other essential supplies which are required to produce your wedding film to the high-quality that you deserve. Many videographers have also spent years studying and attending workshops and masterclasses to hone their craft.

Our typical Deluxe package provides you with 10 - 12 hours’ of coverage - a full day! We are there with you from the preparation in the morning, right up to the party that night, ensuring to capture the wonderful memories from the whole day!

At Sunset Films our approach is to be unobtrusive and work in the background. Usually there is only one videographer. However, where second videographers are requested, for instance to capture additional footage or events happening in parallel, we can also facilitate this, please ask!

No hidden fees! The price you will be quoted is an all-in price, which factors in our expenses. For weddings taking place more than 3 hours from our base, a travel charge will be applied and will be outlined in your quote. All our quotes and requirements will be explained up-front, including where travel charge is applied so you don’t have to worry about hidden extras at a later stage!

Yes of course! We love to travel and we are available to travel worldwide. Travel and accommodation costs will be extra and outlined on a case-by-case basis. We would require a minimum of three nights’ accommodation.

As most of our couples don’t necessarily live near us, it’s usually not practical to meet in person. We know that you are also busy. We’ve always found it easy to get to know our couples, and understand their requirements by phone or by video call on WhatsApp or Zoom :)

Yes we do! This is now provided as a standard part of the Deluxe package, weather permitting of course. Our drone services are fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity.

We use a variety of small DSLR cameras and superb lenses, as well as discreet high-quality audio-equipment - primarily to record the ceremony and speeches. We regularly update our equipment with the latest technologies, as per industry standards, and we also have back-ups. We do not use obtrusive long lenses, or large unsightly gear that may get in your way - we’re all about working in the background!

Our approach is to work in the background, to be as discreet as possible. Most of the time, the guests and wedding party aren’t even aware we are there working away! We will not get in the way or make anyone feel uncomfortable. We do appreciate also if the bride and groom can communicate with the guests that videography is something that you have requested in order to capture the memories of this wonderful day with all your loved ones and favourite people :)

This will depend on your package and the time of year when you get married. Editing is an intricate, detailed, and complex process and requires sufficient time for post-production to ensure the highest cinematic standards. Your wedding films will usually be delivered to you within 4-5 months after the wedding day, but this can be shorter outside of peak times. We really appreciate your patience during this time while we craft your films into a timeless keepsake that you will treasure forever!

As professional wedding videographer and editors, we understand what works best in wedding films to ensure their cinematic flow. For the Feature Film, we usually include either long extracts of the speeches, or else ‘the Best of the Best!’.

Sometimes, depending on their length, the full speeches can be included. In any case, the full (unedited) speeches can also be provided separately. This may incur an additional cost, depending on your package.

Yes, that’s no problem to go ahead and book while you are still finalising your plans (and we do recommend this - as we get booked up quickly!). The most important elements are the date and the location. You can fill us in on the additional details at a later stage. Once you have these basics (wedding date, general location) we can provide you with a quote.

As the videographer will be working from the morning right up to the night, it is always appreciated if you can include a meal for the videographer(s). We will eat separately to the reception dinner, bar food is perfect for example!

We give all our couples the opportunity to choose background music for your Feature Film if you would like. We will give you details about this in advance of starting your edit. For the Highlights and Teaser Films we will choose the music.
